The New Brunswick Salmon Council (NBSC) is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization dedicated to the protection and conservation of wild Atlantic salmon and supporting the restoration and enhancement of Atlantic salmon and their habitats on all their native watersheds in New Brunswick.

The Lieutenant Governor's Award for Wild Atlantic Salmon Conservation, Sponsored by the New Brunswick Salmon Council Inc. was presented to Bryant Freeman of Riverview New Brunswick by Lt Governor Graydon Nicholas at the Annual ASF Atlantic Salmon Dinner in Fredericton NB. The award presented to Freeman was a replica of the original carving which was designed by the late Bill Page.
